Constantine Chinoporos joined Applied Therapeutics in December 2023.  Prior to joining Applied Therapeutics, Mr. Chinoporos served as Chief Business Officer at Albireo Pharmaceuticals, where he helped to lead the sale of the company to Ipsen Pharmaceuticals, generating a $952M cash buyout plus a $10/share contingent value right (CVR). He also guided efforts to identify external programs for license/acquisition by Albireo to strengthen their pediatric liver presence.

Prior to joining Albireo, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Boston Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, where he executed 21 product license deals across multiple therapeutic areas, generating the entire company pipeline while overseeing the Business Development and New Product Planning teams.

Previously at Sanofi S.A., he led the Worldwide Licensing function, the North American and European regional business development teams, and he designed and led multiple transactions. Earlier in his career, Constantine held a series of progressive leadership positions at Genzyme Corporation, culminating in his appointment as Head of Corporate Development.

Mr. Chinoporos holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BA in History also from Cornell University. He is a board member and chair of the Compensation Committee at Elektrofi and a member of the Strategic Advisory Group at Apollo Therapeutics.
